Online Sales Executive:

To become a Local Online Sales Executive for one of our dynamic new sites devoted to the local community, you must reside in one of the cities in which we represent. Ideal candidates will have in-depth understanding of current and emerging media markets, be involved in the local business communities we are covering, be web savvy and have advanced social media skills.

You will be working closely with local advertisers, from mom and pops to large regional clients, as their local online advertising expert. You will be required to attend chamber and trade functions, get involved in the community groups, head up charitable efforts, and maintain a highly visible presence in the business community.

It’s the right job for an exceptionally self-motivated individual who gets a rush from starting up a business and who can work flexible hours.

Job Responsibilities:
The Local Online Sales Executive is responsible for advertising sales to businesses in local markets. As a sales executive, it is your responsibility to sell advertising property, such as: banner ads, e-newsletters, video, and more.

Required Skills:
Prospective candidates should have top-notch sales and marketing instincts and the willingness and determination to act as a media consultant and the ability to close/ask for the sale. Qualified persons must understand online advertising and also have the ability to manage sales, inventory, design and other aspects of online advertising simultaneously. In addition, qualified persons will be able to quickly grasp the interests, rhythms, and identity of a community. Prospective must have great interpersonal and communication skills and enjoy working hard, as well as competent organization skills.
